The Albanian Beach Club was founded at MIPIM in 1996, on the beach in Cannes. A small group of blue-sky visionary thinkers, aided by a few drinks, were considering the market for tourism in Albania. Although these projects never materialised, a quarterly get together of the founder members developed into an exclusive networking event held in London and Cannes.
